POETS ROW
A Novel (in progress) by James Pearce
Two years ago, Max Beatty was a cop. But two years is a long time.
Now Max is a private eye, freelance, working cases instead of a beat. He's doing so well for himself that he's got an office, a secretary, and a new client: an aspiring rock singer getting some unwanted attention from a creepy fan.
Things are never so easy for Max, though, as the case, and his own desires, begins to catch up with him.
